Elegant Shabbat Rehearsal Dinner at Adare Manor in Ireland
Set within the gorgeous Carriage House Restaurant at Adare Manor in Ireland, Emily and Ryan’s wedding rehearsal dinner offered a heartfelt and beautifully curated start to their destination wedding weekend. Designed and planned by Tara Fay Events, the evening blended timeless elegance with deeply meaningful traditions, creating an atmosphere that felt both elevated and intimate.
Guests were welcomed into a warm and inviting space where long, square, and round tables were softly illuminated by candlelight. Olive trees and hanging greenery added natural texture and height throughout the room. Delicate pastel floral arrangements brought a romantic softness to the room. The setting felt organic yet refined and was the perfect complement to the architecture and natural light of the Carriage House venue.
This beautifully composed pre-wedding event does an excellent job at showcasing how a restaurant rehearsal dinner can be personalized for your event. Creating a look that showcased the couple’s personality was achieved by incorporating unique floral centerpieces on all of the tables and curating the culinary experience with unique food offerings for a menu that was representative of the soon to be newlyweds.

The evening event unfolded as a traditional Shabbat dinner, thoughtfully incorporating rituals that brought together generations of family and friends. Emily and Ryan honored their heritage with the lighting of the Shabbat candles, the blessing over wine, and the sharing of the challah. All of these traditions created moments of connection that set the tone for the celebrations ahead.
One of the most meaningful highlights of the evening was the signing of the couple’s ketubah, a beautiful and symbolic step before their wedding ceremony.
With its balance of intentional design and cultural significance, this wedding rehearsal dinner was more than just a pre-wedding gathering. It was a deeply personal experience that grounded the weekend in tradition, family, and love. Together, it was all set against the stunning backdrop of one of Ireland’s most iconic estates.
Design Details & Atmosphere
This rehearsal dinner’s design felt like a seamless extension of Adare Manor’s refined aesthetic. Layered with thoughtful, organic elements that softened the space, it felt inviting. Inside the Carriage House Restaurant, warm wood tones, expansive steel-framed windows, and rich architectural lines created a striking backdrop for a design that balanced structure and softness.
Tables were dressed in crisp white linens and anchored with low, artfully arranged centerpieces in a palette of blush, peach, soft mauve, and muted green. The florals felt garden-inspired rather than overly formal. The arrangements included blooms of delicate roses and dahlias.
As the night continued, the glow of candlelight and ambient lighting deepened the warmth of the space, transitioning effortlessly from a structured dinner into a more relaxed, lounge-like atmosphere that encouraged conversation and celebration.
Menu & Culinary Experience
The menu for the evening was equally intentional, offering a modern and elevated take on traditional and Mediterranean-inspired flavors that complemented the Shabbat dinner experience.
At the heart of the table was freshly baked challah, beautifully presented and ready to be shared during the blessing. Serving as both a symbolic and sensory anchor for the important evening ahead.
Guests enjoyed a curated selection of small plates and passed dishes, thoughtfully displayed in individual portions that felt both elevated and approachable. Vibrant coucous with mint, coriander, cumin, and pomegranate offered a fresh, herb-forward bite.
Layered food stations created a sense of abundance while still feeling refined in the overall design of the evening. To finish the night, a selection of petite desserts was displayed in a visually striking arrangement including delicate pastries, cream-filled bites, and glossy confections that added a playful yet polished ending to the meal.
Fashion Details
Emily’s rehearsal dinner look was effortlessly chic with a playful, fashion-forward edge. She wore a short ivory rehearsal dinner dress featuring a voluminous bubble hem skirt. The pearl-embellished overlay added texture, dimension and a touch of modern romance. Her sleek ponytail and classic heels kept the overall look polished yet relaxed, perfect for a pre-wedding celebration.
Ryan complemented her look with an elevated but approachable style, pairing a tailored blue plaid blazer with neutral trousers. Together, their looks felt cohesive and intentional, blending modern elegance with a relaxed sophistication that matched the tone of the evening.
