Joe and Lara love to travel and got engaged while on a trip to the Amalfi coast in Italy. It was a no-brainer to plan a rehearsal dinner and wedding welcome party to kick the weekend off right with a bright and colorful Italian theme and nods to the Amalfi coast in the design elements. A vibrant color palette of lemon yellow and turquoise with white and blue mosaic tile details added to the Italian villa vibes at their wedding weekend kick-off party and rehearsal dinner.

A chic event venue with an amazing rooftop space was the perfect spot to host this festive Italian-themed wedding rehearsal dinner, with stunning views of downtown Greenville, South Carolina. After rehearsing for the wedding ceremony the next day, their evening started with welcome drinks on the rooftop patio before a seated rehearsal dinner. Amalfi lemons were a design element seen throughout the rehearsal dinner - from the invitations to the table numbers, escort cards, and menus at each guest’s seat. Vibrant floral arrangements with white and yellow blooms complimented the blue and white mosaic tile-inspired table linens.

The head table at the rehearsal dinner stood out with a lemon yellow and white striped table linen. A mix of fresh herbs and a tall greenery centerpiece anchored the table for a stand-out moment. The blue and white mosaic tile pattern was present on the rehearsal dinner invitation too - creating a cohesive look for this celebration from start to finish. All of the Italy-inspired design details worked together to create an Italian villa feeling in the heart of the South. It was the perfect way to kick off a wedding weekend, surrounded by family and friends.
