As they prepared for their Indian fusion wedding, Anjali and Ian decided to hold an intimate Mehndi for their friends and family in the historic Biltmore Village. The nearlyweds began the evening on the lawn of the iconic Biltmore Estate for a romantic photoshoot, with the Châteauesque home and surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains as their backdrop. Anjali wore a shimmering blush Lehenga she bought while in India, and Ian matched her in an intricate sherwani. The Mehndi itself was held among fragrant floral garlands in the Zen Garden of Haiku in Asheville. The stunning decor was provided by Anjali’s mother, a textile designer, to create a personal and sentimental setting for the gathering.
