A Chic Welcome to Charleston: Stylish Wedding Rehearsal Dinner
This modern wedding rehearsal dinner was the perfect mix of Southern hospitality and chic design details. Holly and Patrick hosted their guests at Parcel 32, a modern event venue in Charleston’s Historic district and set on the famous King Street. The tables featured delicate bud vases with bright blooms, light blue linens, and flickering candlelight, while personalized items like the welcome sign, bar signs, an interactive game for guests and custom cocktail napkins helped set the tone for the night before the wedding day.
Blending timeless Southern charm with modern style, Holly and Patrick’s Charleston rehearsal dinner was the initial gathering and celebration for their wedding weekend. Friends and family joined Holly and Patrick for an evening filled with champagne, laughter and good southern cuisine. Wait until you see how stylish the bride and groom are in the all-white attire. As guests entered Parcel 32 they were greeted by a beautiful watercolor welcome sign and for this one they specifically say ‘Welcome To Charleston!’ The custom painted image of traditional row homes in downtown Charleston for a truly Southern feel to kickoff the wedding weekend. The stylish design details didn’t end there! Holly and Patrick incorporated modern acrylic table numbers, printed place cards, and acrylic framed table information displayed on an etagere for guests to find their seats.
One of our favorite details from this rehearsal dinner is the interactive game type activity they had for guests to fill out as they arrived. Titled ‘Place Your Bets’ the guests quickly reviewed questions about the wedding day and added their opinions as a vote. Our favorite question…’Will Pat Cry When Holly Walks Down The Aisle?’
The couple’s elegant all-white attire was stunning from first glance. Holly looked flawless in her modern white midi dress with a unique dropped skirt and square neckline. The groom complimented her perfectly in a tailored light beige suit paired with a white shirt. He opted to skip the tie for a polished yet laid-back look. It was the perfect balance of Southern sophistication and modern minimalism and ideal for a breezy Charleston evening.
Once inside the restaurant, tables were lined with various glass bud vases and blooms in shades of pink and orange. Varying seating choices throughout the restaurant added to the modern design, perfect for this wedding rehearsal dinner style. Various gold and clear glass votives for tea light sized candles also adorned the tables and etagere for decor throughout the rehearsal dinner venue. Each place setting featured a personalized place card printed in the rehearsal dinner’s southern chic and modern style.
