Upon entering the room guests were greeted with long tables with alternating chair styles, giving the event with a unique vibe from the start. Tables were decorated with elaborate centerpieces featuring a mix of florals paired with fresh ingredients inspired by Italian cuisine. We’re talking about a mix of floral with red flowers and lush green leaves paired next to cascading cloves of garlic and ripe red tomatoes. Tall glass cylinders showcase single red candlesticks for a vibrant ‘pop’.
The place settings were a perfect reflection of a chic Italian-inspired event. A white plate with a delicate green vine border served as the base and was layered with a scalloped white and green linen napkin. Each place setting also featured a unique shaped printed menu highlighting the evening as “An Italian Start” and explaining the build your own pasta bar available to guests for the dinner.
Mixing real ingredients like garlic and tomatoes into the floral décor added authenticity and warmth, a simple tip anyone planning an Italian-themed wedding rehearsal dinner can try at home or at a restaurant.
Our favorite piece of the place setting has to be the place cards, hand lettered pieces of lasagna pasta! How fun, how cute, how Italian! Green handled flatware finished each place setting as a perfect blend of modern design and Italian charm.
Guests enjoyed an abundant antipasto and salad buffet featuring beautifully arranged platters of marinated vegetables, cured meats, cheeses and fresh greens. A true celebration of Italian flavors and hospitality. At this Italian inspired celebration, guests were invited to build their own pasta bowls from a beautiful chef-attended pasta station.
The bar setup is the ultimate nod to Italian flair and hospitality with bold, playful design and fresh ingredients. A green bar front featured the word ‘Saluti’, which is Italian for ‘cheers’. The top of the bar was styled with rustic Italian charm with loaves of bread, garlic bulbs, fresh basil and ripe tomatoes. A simple bar sign with Italian red and white checkered flair displayed drink offerings. Highlighted on the menu was the couple’s signature cocktails: the Negroni and a refreshing Aperol Spritz. This creative setup combined old-world Italian warmth with modern design, creating a bar experience that was as beautiful as it was inviting.
The couple’s chic attire even played a part in the Italian themed evening, too. The bride’s ivory floor length dress featured black embroidery and the groom’s green suit was paired with a floral tie.
